<p>PURPOSE:To simplify structure of a radio-frequency induction hardening apparatus for quenching a work of rotary symmetrical body horizontally setting the shaft and having columnar part or cylindrical part and to facilitate the operation in the radio-frequency induction hardening method. CONSTITUTION:After setting lower half of small shaft diameter part 12 in the work of the rotary symmetrical body horizontally setting the shaft 19 on rollers 1a, 1b in plural sets of roller unit composed of one pair of the rollers 1a, 1b, in which rotary shaft 3 is made to the prescribed angle theta to axis 19 of the work and the rotary shafts 3 are parallel on the same horizontal plane and rotating device for the rollers, by rotating the rollers 1a, 1b, the work is rotated and shifted to axial 19 direction of the work and after abutting end face of the work in a stopper 30, while rotating the work by successively rotating the rollers 1a, 1b, the work is quenched at once. On the other hand, by rotating the rollers 1a, 1b, the work is rotated and while shifting this to the axial 19 direction of the work, the work is shift-quenched.</p> |
