PURPOSE:To achieve a hob work for a composite work machine tool for performing a lathe turning and machining center work. CONSTITUTION:A shaft B 13 having a tool spindle head 14 installed at a forward end is held rotatably at a Y-axis slide 10, the shaft B 13 is indexed and rotated by a shaft B servo motor 22, a clamp piston 26 is provided at a facing position to a flange part 25 of a shaft B forward end part 13A, and the clamp piston 26 is pressed to the flange part 25 to fix the shaft B at a desired rotation angular position. The axial line of a hob tool 29 can thus be indexed and fixed precisely at a desired angular position to a work W, thereby a hob work can be achieved. |
