PURPOSE:To improve economical efficiency, profitability and operating efficiency by installing plant cultivation beds at specific positions in a transportable structure, and performing the plant cultivation while illuminating plants with an additionally installed illuminator. CONSTITUTION:Fixed plant cultivation beds 2 are installed in two rows along both inner sidewalls 15 so as to form an operation passage 200 therebetween in a transportable structure such as a container 1, and movable plant cultivation beds 7 are simultaneously provided to enable reciprocation in the direction crossing the beds 2 so that positions exposed to the aforementioned passage 200 or positions under either of the aforementioned beds 2 may be taken. Nursery boxes in which seeds of lettuce, etc., are sown are placed on the abovementioned beds. Plants are then exposed to artificial illumination from an additionally installed illuminator 4 and cultivated. Thereby, a narrow space is effectively utilized to reduce the initial cost such as installation cost. |
