CONNECTOR AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF

PURPOSE:To provide a subminiature connector which provides a sure feeling of clicking (operating feeling) at the time of completing the insertion and is mounted on a printed board easy to manufacture a contact to be used. CONSTITUTION:A housing 5 is formed of a nearly box-shaped molded material such as a synthetic resin. A contact 1, 2 has a contact part 1e at the top of a free end 1b, and the free end 1b between a base part 1a and the contact part 1e has an inclined stepped part 1c having an inclination of about 30 deg. curved by means of a metal mold. The inclined stepped part 1b forms a curved part providing a feeling of clicking.
