<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of shortening a period of time required for a correction processing with a small memory capacity, thereby performing a shading correction suppressive in a photographing time. <P>SOLUTION: On a final stage of manufacturing steps of a digital camera, a noise signal is fetched from a block 44 set by dividing five horizontal lines 33 while a CCD is light-shielded, and this is integrated for each block 44 to calculate an average value. The average value is defined as correction data of pixels 32 included in the block 44 and the correction data are stored in a flash memory. In photographing, the correction data are read from the flash memory, the correction data are subtracted from image data for each horizontal line by an arithmetic processing circuit, and shading correction in a horizontal direction is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
