PURPOSE:To improve safety of an electronic watch with a depth gage in its use. CONSTITUTION:The watch in this invention is constituted of a water pressure detection part 2 to detect external water pressure, a water pressure value conversion part 3 to convert signal from the water pressure detection part to digital water depth on a predetermined cyclic period, a switch operation part 8 to set forth the water pressure detection part and the water pressure value conversion part to an operative condition, and a power source voltage detection part 6 to detect battery voltage. By signal from the switch operation part 8, the water pressure detection part 2, the water pressure value conversion part 3 and power source voltage detection part 6 are forcedly activated, and, when the battery voltage is lower than predetermined voltage, transfer to depth measurement action is prohibited. Accordingly, diver's trouble caused by false indication of water depth is well prevented and a mush safer and higher reliable watch with a depth gage can be obtained. |
