PURPOSE:To offer an automatic document feeder capable of saving the time required for resetting an original and form an image at speed as high as possible. CONSTITUTION:In the automatic original feeder which automatically feeds the plural sheets of originals on an original set means 20 to the original mounting means 19 of an image forming device main body or ejects them to the outside, it is detected by a final original detection means 13 whether the original fed to the mounting means 19 from the set means 20 is the final or not. Besides, it is detected by a normal finish detection means 15 that the whole images of at least the final original are normally formed. Based on detection signals from the detection means 13 and the detection means 15, the final original is moved by a control means 16 so as to be ejected to the outside after the whole images thereof are normally formed. |
