A safety-belt buckle 3 is provided with a duct 5 for one belt end portion, 2a, the two ends 5a, 5b of the duct 5 terminating on the inner side of the buckle when in its normal position of use, the inner side of the buckle being provided with a part 6 against which the belt-end portion 2a emerging from the duct, is held when the belt-end portion is under tension. As shown, in which a belt-end portion 1a is threaded through a channel formation 8, 9, the buckle is released from the portion 2a by swinging the buckle, in an anticlockwise direction from the position shown. |
