PURPOSE:To reduce the labor cost by starting a backup job of a backup management master by a backup control means to back up files without manual operation even at night. CONSTITUTION:A backup control means 2 reads out contents of a backup management master 3 to retrieve a backup name as the backup object and a backup time at which backup should be designated. Based on this retrieved information, the means 2 starts the backup job at the designated backup time to take a backup file of the object file stored in a secondary storage device 4 on an assembled-type cassette magnetic tape device 1. The stored result is returned to the means 2, and the means 2 writes the stored result in the processing result of the management master 3. |
