PURPOSE: To provide a manually operatable tool, to easily incororate an optical fiber to the element of a connector. CONSTITUTION: This tool 8 is provided with a base 10 for peeling off a jacket 16 on an outer side, projecting the optical fiber and holding a fiber optic cable 14. A carriage 12 holds the element of the connector at a position for receiving the fiber, the carriage is attached slidably so as to be slidable and moved on the base and thus, the carriage can be manually moved with respect to the base. Then thus, the element of the connector is moved to the fiber optic cable. |
