<p>PURPOSE:To carry out rooting and to readily differentiate organs by cultivating callus of Ocimum basilicum L. in a medium containing auxin. CONSTITUTION:Callus of Ocimum basilicum L. is cultured in a medium containing at least auxin as a plant hormone and optionally a small amount of cytokinin, rooted and organ of Ocimum basilicum L. is differentiated. alpha- Naphthaleneacetic acid or indoleacetic acid is preferable as the auxin and the amount of auxin in the medium is preferably 0.01-10ppm.</p> |
