PURPOSE:To enable highly precise mounting by a method wherein, when a parts smaller than a lead of the lower surface side of the parts or the diameter of a suction nozzle is recognized, shutter members are closed so as to sandwich the suction nozzle from both sides, and the reflection light image of the parts is recognized by a recognition means. CONSTITUTION:When a small-sized electronic parts 10a is sucked by a suction nozzle 5a for a small-sized parts, the irradiation light from a first illumination means 11 is reflected by a reflection member 7, a silhouette image being a transmission light image of the parts 10a is recognized by a recognition means 6, and the external shape of the parts 10a is recognized. When an electronic parts 10c having a lead on the lower surface side is sucked by a suction nozzle 5b for a large-sized parts, shutter members 13 are closed from both sides so as to sandwich the nozzle 5b, and the reflection member 8 is shielded. An reflection light image of the lower surface of the parts 10c is recognized by the recognition means 6, thereby recognizing the lead of the parts 10c. In the case of an electronic parts smaller than the diameter of the nozzle 5, the external shape of the parts is similarly recognized by using the reflection light image. |
