SEAL RING

摘要

PURPOSE:To enable more positive sealing by providing a seal ring which can obtain sufficient pressing force to press against both a tube joint and a connected tube even if the pressing force obtained from a pressing ring is insufficient. CONSTITUTION:A seal ring consists of a sealing member 3a which comes into contact with a tube joint 1 and a connected tube 2 respectively and seals a part between them, and an automatic pressing member 3b composed of a shape memory polymer where a stored shape which presses the sealing member 3a against the tube joint 1 and the connected tube 2 respectively is stored in advance by heating in a condition where the sealing member 3a is fitted between the tube joint 1 and the connected tube 2.
