Sleeves, particularly for the production of draught excluder or sealing strip or cord are produced without having to use a plaiting process, by winding at least one first yarn helically onto a longitudinally extending element and subsequently helically winding at least one further yarn over the first but in the opposite sense and thereafter bonding the windings to each other by an adhesive. The adhesive may be applied to both yarns or only to one. |
