<p>Provision is made for regulating the temp. of an industrial furnace heated by a fuel and in which the furnace atmosphere is circulated by the force of combustion gas coming from the burners, while the burners are connected or disconnected individually or in groups in the zone of their activity when the temp. departs from the nominal value in accordance with Belgian patent No. PV 80 471 dated 20 October 69. The burners are fed by the flow of gas and air whose pressure is almost constant. More specifically provision is made for mixing burners entirely fed in the flow, of which the pressure is constant and in front of which are connected rapidly closing main valves, while provision is made in the branches for throttles capable of being regulated from without and arranged in each instance between the rapidly closing main valves and the atmosphere, on the one hand, and the compressor, on the other hand. Advantage: provision of uniform continuous circulation ensuring increased temp. precision.</p> |
