<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently clean a carrying device carrying a transfer material separated from a transfer device and to obtain a high quality image not being soiled by constituting a transfer material supporting body cleaning means so as to be applied to, for instance, a carrying device having a carrying belt, as well. CONSTITUTION:The transfer device completing the carriage of the transfer material, further, continues rotations, and at a cleaning position, the brush roller 15 of a cleaning unit 20 approaches and wipes off residual toner on a transfer material supporting body 3 while rotating. Simultaneously, the brush roller 15 comes into contact with the carrying belt 601, as well, to clean the residual toner on the belt. In other words, a constitution that a cam 27 makes a casing 21 linearly act when the cam 27 is rotated, is adopted, and a scraper 24 for scratching toner on the brush roller 15 is provided inside the casing 21, and the residual toner is sent to an unnecessary toner storing part by the scraper 24 and an attracting fan 25.</p> |
