Lighter or similar device having a fuel reservoir is characterised by at least the fuel reservoir consisting wholly or partly of a plastics material, which is so coloured that it has a dark, shiny appearance in reflected light, and a transparent appearance in transmitted light. The plastics material is pref. a polycarbonate. The reservoir has an attractive, lacquered appearance in reflected light, and at the same time the fuel level in the reservoir can be inspected, as the reservoir in transparent in transmitted light. The reservoir can be re-used. |
