<p>Immediately after the textile goods have been cleaned and dried in a special dry-cleaning machine which is particularly suitable for use with fluorochlorohydrocarbons, an ethylene oxide/fluorochlorohydrocarbon gas-mixture is conducted into the drum contng. the goods to be disinfected and after heating and regulating the moisture as required the goods are further rotated in the drum with conventional forced gas circulation or flow. Before carrying out the sterilization, the drum or drum-housing is pref. evacuated to ca. 0.05 atm., and then sterilization is pref. effected at ca. atm. (gauge).</p> |
