1325874 Gravure printing plates B K T DISPLAYS Ltd 11 Aug 1970 [13 Aug 1969] 40545/69 Heading G2M Gravure printing plates are prepared from a layer of a composition comprising a resin material which is hardenable to electromagnetic radiation by producing in one surface thereof a pattern of hardened cell walls and an image in material which is resistant to the transmission of hardening radiation, then exposing the layer to said hardening radiation, and then removing less hardened and unhardened material from within the cells. Preferably the composition used is that described and claimed in divisional Specification 1325875 the cell walls are produced by exposure to U.V. or X-rays, heating or high frequency vibrations, and the image formed by imagewise exposure followed if necessary by development. |
