PURPOSE:To use the same optical disk in plural logical specifications environment by being equipped with a reproducing exclusive-use are recorded in an unevenness shape and the adding and rewritable area of information on one disk. CONSTITUTION:When an optical disk 1 is first used under a certain logical information specification or computer specification, the information of a retrieving information area 22 of a reproducing exclusive-use area 2 of the disk is read. At first, as the initialization work, the converting work to the physical track of the optical disk at a reproduction exclusive-use retrieving information area 22, the logical specification to use the retrieving information shown at a physical sector position or relative position and the retrieving information shown physically on the optical disk used by the computer specification. After the conversion, re-recording is performed at a retrieving information area 31 of an adding rewriting area 3 by the adding and rewritable method. When the same optical disk is used at the environment having different logical specifications, the initialization work is performed. The recording position of the retrieving information based on second and third logics is made into the position different from the position based on a first logical information. The information of the same disk can be shared between plural computers of the logical specifications. |
