PURPOSE:To reduce manufacturing cost and to enhance manufacturing efficiency by molding a compression molded product using a compression mold and subsequently molding a foamed layer in such a state that male and female molds are spaced apart from each other in such a state that the cutting surfaces thereof are mutually mated with each other to unite the same with the compression molded product. CONSTITUTION:In preparing a compression molded product integrally equipped with a foamed layer such as a urethane foam layer, a sheet like molding material composed of a fiber filled thermosetting resin sheet material impregnated with a thermosetting resin is subjected to compression molding at first using the male and female molds 11,12 of a compression mold 10 and cured to obtain a compression molded product 13. Next, a hydraulic cylinder 16 is driven to eject an ejection pin 14 upwardly and the female mold 12 is raised to be allowed to be spaced apart from the male mold 11 in a state pot perfectly opened with respect to said mold 11 and stopped in such a state that the cutting surfaces 11a, 12a of both molds 11,12 are connected. By this method, a space 17 is formed between the under surface becoming the rear of the compression molded product 13 and the core part of the male mold 11 and filled with a foamable resin 20 from an injection port 12b to unite a foam layer with the compression molded product 13. |
