<p>PURPOSE:To provide a method for manufacturing a ceramic semiconductor based thermistor having a positive temperature characteristic, especially a method for configuring electrodes in the manufacturing method, the thermistor being applicable to a current-limiting element, a demagnetizing element, and a motor starting element, etc. CONSTITUTION:On a thermistor (1) having a positive temperature characteristic, a first electrode (2) and a second electrode (3) are formed by electroless Ni plating. The thermistor (1) manufactured by the disclosed method has the advantages of excelling in its resistibilities to corrosions caused by solders and migrations, its solderability, and its quality in ohmic contact. Further, the thermistor (1) is advantageous in its inexpensiveness caused by using cheaper Ni than Ag.</p> |
