PURPOSE:To obtain a printer in which when a bug occurs in each task in a control program for controlling a whole printer, the bug can be corrected in a simple, positive, and rapid manner without decomposing the printer, and the time and cost required for correcting the bug can be remarkably reduced. CONSTITUTION:When a bug occurs in each task in a control program consisting of a plurality of tasks which are previously incorporated, a bug correction program for correcting said bug is inputted from a bug correction means (ROM card) 12 from outside a printer. In this manner, said bug is corrected, and a new control program in which the bug has been corrected is stored in a memory means (EEP ROM) 10. |
