PURPOSE:To obtain a stable excellent image regardless of paper quality and environmental conditions, to improve cleaning performance, to reduce wasteful consumed toner quantity, to improve transferring, separating and feeding performance by changing the conditions other than transferring, separating and feeding conditions, and further to improve the transferring, separating and feeding performance by combining various conditions. CONSTITUTION:In an image forming method in which a toner image formed on a photosensitive body is transferred to a recording paper so that an image is formed, the characteristic and the state of the recording paper and temporal information are detected, the transferring, separating and feeding states for the recording paper are inferred based on the detected information in a microprocessor (fuzzy arithmetic operation) 1002 as the synthesis of the membership function of the information, so that cleaning conditions and the auxiliary conditions to them, electrostatic charging conditions, exposing conditions, developing conditions and toner replenishing conditions are decided, and control is executed based on the decision. |
