PURPOSE:To provide a fixing device which can easily change the quantity of heat for fixing according to a copying mode for plain paper copying, cardboard copying, etc., and has a simple configuration. CONSTITUTION:Respective heat H1 and H2 are provided on a heating roller 21 and an auxiliary roller 2, which are parallely provided at a distance, a fixing belt is stretched on both rollers, and a pressure roller abutting on the heating roller and the auxiliary roller via the fixing belt is provided. In a plain paper copying mode, only either of the heaters is turned on, and in a cardboard copying mode, etc., both heaters are turned on. Then, a paper passes between the fixing belt and the pressure roller, to carry out fixing. |
