PURPOSE:To provide a printing apparatus capable of setting predetermined printing pressure even when the thickness of an object to be printed is changed. CONSTITUTION:A printing apparatus has a plate cylinder 75 provided with a plate, the blanket cylinder sliding with the plate cylinder 75 to apply printing to an object to be printed and a blanket shaking lever 80 shaking the blanket cylinder 77 so as to bring the same to the state separated from and coming into contact with the object to be printed. The blanket cylinder 77 is brought into contact with the object to be printed by the blanket shaking lever 80 to transfer ink to the blanket cylinder 77 from the plate of the plate cylinder 75 and, further, printing is applied to the object to be printed from the blanket cylinder 77. In this printing apparatus, a printing pressure adjusting screw 82a stopping the blanket shaking lever 80 revolved toward the object to be printed at an arbitrary position is provided. |
