PURPOSE:To add an automatic ansering telephone function to a portable telephone set while keeping features of small size, light weight and low power consumption. CONSTITUTION:The portable telephone set of this invention consists of a mobile set 1 and a stationary set 2. The mobile set 1 is provided with a radio transmission reception section 12, a position registration means 22, an automatic answering telephone setting/release command generating means 23, and key entry operation sections K1, K2. The stationary set 2 is provided with a radio transmission reception section 32 and a position registration means 36, provided with a radio line circuit section 30 having a same identification number as that of the mobile set 1 with respect to a radio mobile telephone network 3, a wired line circuit section 40 connecting to the wired telephone network 4 via a wired telephone line and an automatic answering telephone function section 50. A command from the automatic answering telephone setting/release command generating means 23 of the mobile set 1 is given to the wired line circuit section 40 of the stationary set 2 to set/release the automatic answering telephone function with respect to the automatic answering telephone function section 50. |
