PURPOSE:To obtain a data processor which can stably continue operations without stopping the operations even when data processing abnormality occurs. CONSTITUTION:A packet abnormality detecting means which inputs packets from a data flow processor and detects the abnormality of the packets from the inputting order, inputting interval, arriving time of a prescribed packet, etc., is provided and, by inputting the detect signal of the detecting means to a control processor or another processor interlocked with the data flow processor and an initializing signal from the control processor or another processor to the data flow processor, the data flow processor is partially or entirely initialized. Even when data processing abnormality occurs, therefore, the operation of the data flow processor can be stably continued without stopping its data processing operations, since the data flow processor can be restored to its normal state by immediately initializing the processor. |
