PURPOSE:To prevent break of the electrode basic material and damage of the ion-exchange membrane, and compensate the sufficient bonding of the ion- exchange membrane and electrodes by bonding the electrodes including, electrode catalyzer layer and the ionexchange membrane with the solution including the ion-exchanger. CONSTITUTION:The catalyzer, in which platinum is held by carbon black as conductive carbon, is prepared to be mixed with PTFE. Next, this mixture is mixed with isopropyl alcohol, and is coated on carbon papers 1 as the electrode basic material, to which the water-proof processing is performed. This electrode basic material is burned in the argon atmosphere to form an electrode 3 with electrode basic material, which consists of the electrode basic material 1 and the electrode catalyzer layer 2 bonded to each other. Next, the surface of the electrode 3 with electrode basic material is coated with the naph ion solution, and thereafter, hot press is performed to both surfaces of the naph ion 117 as the ion-exchange membrane to obtain a junction body of the electrodes 3 with electrode basic material and the ionexchange membrane 4. At this stage, bonding pressure at the time of bonding is less than the compression strength. |
