<p>PURPOSE:To solve such problems that the surface of a heat roller is damaged by a separation means, developer is attached on the separation means and an image is soiled caused by the attachment of the developer. CONSTITUTION:The rotating center B of a separation pawl 103 is provided on the heat roller 101 side with respect to the tangent line drawn on the outer circumferential circle of the roller 101. Thus, since the leading edge of a sheet material exerts the force of a direction that the tip of the pawl 101 is made to escape from the roller 101 even when it abuts on the sliding surface D of the pawl 101, the surface of the roller 101 is not damaged by the pawl 103. Besides, the sliding surface D of the pawl 103 is positioned on the inside of a curved carrying path with respect to a straight line H. Thus, the sheet material is carried without rubbing the image surface thereof on the pawl 103. Besides, such problems that the developer is attached on the pawl 103 and the image is soiled due to the attachment of the developer are solved.</p> |
