A process for coating a set of household and kitchen utensils as well as a corresponding set of utensils are proposed. The process comprises the steps of making grooves (40) in a surface (11a') of a metallic basic element (11'), the grooves (40) having a width (B) and a depth (T) of in each case between 100 mu m and 400 mu m. At least one plasma-sprayed layer (13', 14') is applied to the surface (11a'), the thickness (d1, d2) of the layer (13', 14') being less than half as great as the depth (T). Finally, a non-stick layer (15') is applied to the plasma-sprayed layer (13', 14'), the thickness (d3) of the non-stick layer (15') being less than that (d1, d2) of the plasma-sprayed layer (13', 14'). <IMAGE> |
