PURPOSE:To eliminate a path judgement in a key event process and to prevent a sound generation response from increasing by using a path table indicating a sound generation path, rewriting the path table as a path event process when an event regarding the sound generation path occurs, and performing various output processes such as the sound generation process by referring to the path table in case of a key event. CONSTITUTION:When an event involving a change in sound generation path occurs, a path even process 15 is performed and the path table is corrected and changed by a sound generation path determining means 16. When an event requesting sound generation such as keyboard performance occurs, on the other hand, the key event process 10 is performed and a 1st path referring means 11 refers to the path table; when output operation is necessary according to the state of the path table, a 1st output means 12 performs the output operation and a 2nd path referring means 13 refers to the path table. When output operation is required according to the state of the path table, a 2nd output means 14 performed the output operation and when output operation is further needed, a similar path referring means and an output means are put in charge. |
