A handlebar and a mounting shackle are also provided. The tractor may take various forms to function as a rotary hoe, a mowing machine, a plough or a sweeper. At least one transmission member is situated between the motor and the work tool and has ends to enable it to be coupled to the motor and a further transmission member. One of the transmission members has the operator's handlebar detachably secured to it. For example, a rotary hoe, Fig. 3, is driven from a motor 1 by a worm gear drive housed in a casing 10 coupled to the motor by an angle gear and casing 8. The handlebar 3 is secured to the casing 10. Alternatively the cutters of a mowing attachment 27 may be coupled to the end of the casing 10, Fig. 5. A rotary brush or rotary mower may be similarly driven. |
