Drinking water purificn plant - esp for emergency use using multiple techniques

For rapid, treatment of grossly contaminated water e.g. under disaster conditions, without waiting for long analyses, the plant contains elements for prefiltering flocculation, electro-chlorination, high pressure sand filtering, and as required for removal of oil and/or radioactive material. It is automatically controlled and may have a self contained electrical power supply allowing it to be transportable. The flocculating agent is esp. aluminium sulphate and potassium permanganate may also be used. Radioactive decontamination is by mixed bed demineralisation.
