Title colns. contg. dextran, glucose, electrolytes and substances essential to body tissues and blood plasma and which are not easily oxidised are prepd. by reducing the press. over the soln. contained in an air-tight bottle fitted with a rubber bung until the soln. nearly boils then introducing oxygen at 1-2 atms. and sealing the bottle.
