DEVICE AND METHOD FOR EXCHANGING PRINTING PLATE IN PRINTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to ensure an exchange of a printing plate in the device and the method for exchanging a printing plate by improving the device and the method in the printer and at the same time to shorten a mounting time of the exchanging printing plate which is accompanied by cleaning of a blanket cylinder and an impression cylinder.

SOLUTION: The plate cylinders 23 are mechanically connected to each other when the printing plate exchange begins and are driven together by one main drive motor 5, and the mechanical connection of the plate cylinders 23 are released after the old printing plates 7 are taken out and each of the plate cylinders 23 is then driven by its inherent motor 4.
