<p>1531847 Coaxial cable connectors ANDREW CORP 12 April 1977 [8 July 1976] 15008/77 Heading H2E A coaxial connector for a cable having an annularly corrugated outer conductor 11, comprises a first unitary clamping member 51 provided with a bead 52 at one end which is able to flex outwardly by virtue of slits 60 so as to engage, in use, the last valley of the conductor 11, the bead 52 having a conically bevelled clamping surface 50. A second clamping member 30 also has a bevelled clamping surface 32, which may be integral therewith as shown or on a separate member, means being provided, e.g. co-operating threads 34, 54, for drawing and holding the two clamping surfaces 32, 52 together against opposite surfaces of the outer conductor 11 of the cable.</p> |
