A holed for a can of paint consists of a flat metal sheet (1) with upper and lower flanges (2) with concave recesses to fit the shape of the can. These flanges (2) fit over the top and bottom edges of the can and are pressed together by two tension springs (3) secured by screws (4). A hollow handle is screwed to the outer face of the holder (1) and contains a tool which can be used for opening the can and stirring the paint. A clip (10) is also screwed to the holder (1) and is used to hold the paint brushes when not in use. The paint bruse holder may be clipped to a ladder or paint pail.
