PURPOSE:To form defocused image data for image conversion processing by changing the filter coefficient of an anti-aliasing filter in accordance with defocusing data and the contraction ratio data of input image data. CONSTITUTION:A defocusing data forming circuit 18 forms defocusing data S4 from data S6 for specifying a depth focus position, inclination data S7 for specifying the inclination of image blur degree to the front and back sides of a specified focus position and depth data S5 belonging to input image data S1. The filter coefficient S8 of the anti-aliasing filter 5 is changed in accordance with the data 4 and the contraction ratio data S3 of the data S1. Consequently image conversion processing image data S2 defocused so as to be focused only on a prescribed position in the depth direction of an image displayed on a screen and blurred on the front or back side of the prescribed position can be formed. |
