PURPOSE:The titled apparatus designed to decompose a waste gas containing a decomposition product and recycle the decomposition product through a heat-treating apparatus, having improved energy efficiency and economic efficiency with regard to the environmental protection. CONSTITUTION:A waste gas, containing a decomposition product, and generated in a heat-treating furnace 1 is expelled from the heat-treating furnace 1 by a blower 3 and heated by a heat exchanger or heater 6 to a necessary temperature and then introduced into a decomposing apparatus 2. The gas is preferably decomposed by the direct combustion or direct oxidation method with a catalytic oxidation catalyst. The waste gas decomposed and detoxified in the decomposing apparatus 2 is then passed through a blower 4 by adjusting the opening amount of dampers 8 and 9, a blower 4, if necessary through a heater 5 and reintroduced into the heat-treating furnace 1. In the process, the remainder is expelled from an exhaust outlet 11 into the air, and the shortage is supplied from an air supply port 10. |
