PURPOSE:To facilitate a precise check by eliminating the need to carry a timepiece separately for detection at an actual spot, by incorporating a lighter and a timepiece in the same case with an inflammable gas detector. CONSTITUTION:An inflammable gas detector of a timepiece and lighter incorporated type has a lighter 2, a timepiece and a display part 3 in the same case, and gas in the gas lighter 2 is utilized to confirm the normal operation of the detector with the timepiece and display part 3. For this purpose, the relation between the gas detector in normal operation and the outflow of gas is calibrated previously to achieve precise confirmation at every time before measurement is performed, and the need to carry the timepiece separately is eliminated, facilitating a precise check. |
