PURPOSE:To realize an automatic focusing adaptor having a compact constitution, by installing an exchangeable photographing lens structure, tele-conversion optical system, and a device for adjusting distance. CONSTITUTION:An exchangeable photographing lens structure 3 is fitted to the lens fitting section 2 at one end of the automatic focusing adaptor 1 of this invention. On the other hand, the other end of the adaptor 1 is fitted with a body mounting sections 8 which can be fitted to and removed from the mount 6 of a camera body 7. The bodytube 10 of a tele-conversion lens 11 is screwed into the main body of the adaptor 1. Upon receiving a signal from a focal point detecting circuit 19, a focal point adjustment controlling circuit 21 rotates a motor 22. When the motor 22 is rotated, an intermediate helicoidal ring 25 is also rotated and the rectilinear movement of the photographing lens structure 3 in the direction of optical axis becomes possible, and furthermore, the movement of the bodytube 10 of the tele-conversion lens 11 in the direction of optical axis while it is rotated also becomes possible. |
