PURPOSE:To make it possible to predict the generation of the initial destruction in the earth's crust, by detecting an earthquake cloud and earthquake radiation by directing a photographing apparatus and a radiation detector to an upward arbitrary direction from a horizontal plane to enable the investigation of almost all directions. CONSTITUTION:A first and a second motors 3, 5 are driven to make photographing apparatuses 6a, 6b and a radiation detector 7 movable so as to direct the same toward the sky from a horizontal plane and either one of the photographing apparatuses 6a, 6b and the radiation detector 7 are operated. In this state, initial destruction is generated and earthquake radiation is generated while an earthquake cloud A is generated in the sky. If this earthquake cloud A is photographed by the photographing apparatus 6a or 6b, an earthquake detector 9 is operated to drive an alarm 13 and a video apparatus 7. An abnormal radiation detector 12 detects earthquake radiation to operate a recording apparatus 14 and the alarm 13. This abnormal radiation detector 12 detects earthquake radiation generated in a cloudy day, a rainy day or at night to help the photographing apparatuses 6a, 6b when the signals therefrom are insufficient. |
