PURPOSE:To attain multiple address communication also to plural facsimile terminals including different kind of devices by attaining simultaneous multiple address communication even if plural facsimile (FAX) receivers including receivers of different kinds respectively being in operation in different timing. CONSTITUTION:A message signal of multiple-address document is inputted from a terminal 1 and written in a prescribed area of a memory 20 via an interface 10. When multiple address communication is started, a control section 30 gives a calling request to a line interface (IF) section 40, which fetches a destination number from the control section 30 and gives a calling indication to a line control MODEM section 50. After the end of line connection, the control section 30 indicates group identification and receiving of digital identification signal to the corresponding IF section 40. When both the signals are received, the control section 30 discriminates that the said FAX receivers are G3 machines and when one of them is received, the control section 30 discriminates that the other function is not provided. The control section 30 executes communication procedures in matching with any machine type and when the procedure is finished, the control section 30 gives an indication to a code converting section 60 for attaining the code conversion matched to the said line. |
