PURPOSE:To provide the titled printer capable of printing bar codes easily and accurately without requiring any input through keys, wherein a bar code is printed on the basis of bar code data read from bar code samples by a bar code reader. CONSTITUTION:The bar code reader 5 is connected to a main body 1, and a CPU6 is connected to the bar code reader 5. The bar code data read from the bar code samples by the reader 5 are inputted, and the bar code is directly printed on the basis of the inputted data. Accordingly, a bar code can be printed even when the code is one which can not be read by the operator, such as an UPC E version, and the code can be registered into a PLU easily and accurately.
