PURPOSE:To easily reform an existing ship to a structure in which loaded chemical cargo is not directly contacted with the wall of the hold by a method in which the portion to be direcly touched by the sea water of the hold wall of the existing ship is covered with an outer wall from outside, and a space is provided between the outer wall and the hold wall. CONSTITUTION:The outside skin 4, excluding double bottom 3A, a bilge tank 3B, and a wing tank 3C, of the hold 2 of a cargo delivery ship 1 is covered with an outer wall 5 from outside to form a space 6. Chemical cargo can thus be housed in the hold without all surrounding of the inside of the hold 2 being contacted with the sea water directly. The covering of the outer skin of the hold with the outer wall makes the operation of reforming easier than the case where a double structure is formed in the inside of the hold.
