摘要 PURPOSE:To harmonize the both demands of the reduction of the shock on switching to the lock-up operation and the improvement of fuel consumption rate by releasing a lock-up mechanism and transmitting an operation instruction signal by a clutch means, when the instruction signal for switching a supercharger from stop to operation is detected during lock-up. CONSTITUTION:An automatic transmission T is equipped with a lock-up mechanism, and a mechanical supercharger S is connected to an engine revolution shaft E' through a clutch means C. When a clutch operating means O transmits an instruction signal for switching the supercharger S from stop to operation, a switching-signal generation detecting means D detects the generation, and a lock- up mechanism releasing means F releases the lock-up mechanism of the automatic transmission T, and then, the clutch operation-signal transmitting means G transmits a clutch engagement signal into the clutch means C, and the supercharger starts operation.
