PURPOSE:To edit and display optionally a guidance message by providing the buffer to accommodate the data read from the memory, correcting the displayed data by the buffer and obtaining the new display. CONSTITUTION:When the data executed next are desired to be corrected by the processing information read into an input part 2, an operator sets the com mand code at a setting displaying part 7, and then, the corresponding command format is searched from a message table 8, and displayed as a guidance mes sage. The operator executes the correction in accordance with the format. The processing program to be edited is read from a memory 1b to a correcting buffer 9, and the contents are displayed to the displaying part 7. The operator executes the editing necessary to the displaying data. When a buffer 9 receives the data after editing, the contents of the previous program buffer 9 are written, and editing is completed. Consequently, the contents of the table 8 can be also displayed through the buffer 9 to the displaying part 7 and can be edited.
