PURPOSE:To prevent defects such as unpleasant feeling of a driver, deterioration of a clutch board, and an increase of fuel consumption, by computing the number of the engine rotations at the end of a speed change and furnishing a control device for adjusting the engine rotations. CONSTITUTION:In ROM 31a of an electronic control device 31, the relative relations of the fuel injection amount and the number of the object engine rotations are stored. A processor 31d computes the difference between the actual fuel injection amount I and the object value Ic, and, depending on the difference, a fuel injection pump 30 is controlled to set the injection volume of a fuel injection nozzle 29 at the object value. As a result, the number of engine rotations at the gear position after the gear shift in the present car speed is converted to the object value. In such a way, the number of engine rotations after the gear shift is over is applied as an object rotations depending on the deceleration rate just before the speed change to adjust the engine rotations in an automatic change gear furnished car, so that the clutching after the speed change can be performed at the value of the object rotations. |
