PURPOSE:To print the contents of a directory with single step operation by providing a command to a top-level command to print the contents of the directory. CONSTITUTION:A command system controller 6 controls totally the command system of a system. Then each command controlled by the controller 6 is supplied and processed by a command controller 3. At the same time, the command group of each level that is controlled by the controller 6 is displayed on a command display device 4. A desired command is designated out of those command groups by a command designating device 1. Furthermore, the directory information stored in a file controller 2 is printed by a printer 5.
